Location: San Francisco (location will be sent to you once you register)
Cost: $75
To register: email bycenter@gmail.com

About this class:

First you will learn to how to make an 3 course raw-food meal (and your dinner).
Then we move on to delicious raw, sin-free, dessert-making: hands-on instruction, and sampling, and with a lot of Chocolate (made with raw cocoa and superfoods)!
You will also learn what you buy to replace the bad-stuff in your pantry, so that you can go home not only with recipes, but the confidence to know you can whip-up the raw desserts without stress or fancy equipment.

The benefits of eating raw food desserts is that they are made without the nutrient-void and harmful ingredients (aka bad stuff) typically found in traditionally cooked desserts like: Processed Flour, Butter and Processed Sugar!  Knowing how to make raw food desserts allows you to enjoy the "sweetness of life" without the guilt and damaging effects of the "bad stuff." Plus, raw desserts are full of good-for-you ingredients!

My Teaching Philosophy:
How to fit a raw-food living diet into your mainstream life is what I passionately teach.  I'm not 100% raw, and don't aspire to be. But I've added many raw food choices into my mainstream life and still lost 27 pounds and feel better than I have in years!  For example, in this class you can enjoy wine with dinner and goat cheese with raw crackers!

Why Breakfast and lunch?

Between the time you wake up until the time you have dinner, you will usually have eaten about 75% of your food intake with your breakfast, lunch and snacks. This offers you a great opportunity to dip your big toe onto the raw-food waters without stress or much planning because breakfast and lunch are the easiest meals to prepare raw!

You will learn how to make green smoothies so tasty, even the pickiest kid will ask for more! Other breakfast items we’ll cover are: Granola, Warm Chia Porridge, Nuts Milks (Almond and Hazelnut), Hazelnut Latte and more. The lunches you will learn are 5 minutes soups (which travel well) and wraps (the raw foods world's version of a sandwich).

I’ve had profound health benefits from adding raw “living” food to my day: In only 12 months I’ve lost 27 pounds, cured my chronic back pain and I have much more energy that I’ve EVER had (on much less sleep!) My hair is shinier, my nails are stronger and my skin feels and looks better… just to name a few great benefits.

Oh yeah, and I’m having FUN!!... which is the part I want to share with you the most!
I do not eat a 100% raw food diet, 100% of the time. I have learned how to find the right percentage of raw food for my lifestyle, so that I can live easily in the “real world” with a busy work schedule and robust social life.

Why Raw Snacks? I personally credit home-made dehydrated snacks for my raw-food success! As soon as I decided to try living on a raw food diet, I got a dehydrator right away and started making cookies, fruit/nut bars and crackers so that I could have treats around the house for my boyfriend and me.  Buying my dehydrator was the best $170 I've ever spent! Also, I knew that if I were out-and-about and got hungry, I might "cheat" and grab a Powerbar of something from Starbucks if I did not have alternatives in my purse or car. So I still carry these treats around with me and they save me daily!

Raw Food snacks help me to never feel "deprived" becasue they are so yummy. I feel absolutely decadent eating them! Funny thing is, I rarely ate this many sweet snacks EVER because these things are usually forbidden on traditional "diets" that make you watch calories and fat grams.

But Raw Food Snacks are actually GOOD FOR YOU and can be totally guilt-free meal replacements because they contain vital macro and micro nutrients your brain and body need to function optimally. This also means they will not give you a "sugar crash" or fill you with toxic processed anything. Raw Food Snacks are all good and no bad!

I’ve had profound health benefits from adding raw “living” food to my day: In only 10 months I’ve lost 25 pounds, cured my chronic back pain and I have much more energy that I’ve EVER had (on much less sleep!) My hair is shinier, my nails are stronger and my skin feels and looks better… just to name a few great benefits.
